Requirements for manuscripts

Dear Colleagues!

You are welcome to submit your manuscripts to be published in «Yearbook of Finno-Ugric Studies»

The journal welcomes manuscripts in the following areas of interest:

I. Philological sciences
Linguistics
Literary studies
Folklore studies

II. Historical sciences
History, archaeology and ethnography
Ethnology

III. Art criticism
Art and culture
Historical and cultural heritage

V. Reviews, comments, and news in brief

The articles published in the «Yearbook of Finno-Ugric Studies» will be included into the Russian Science Citation Index (RISC) and registered in the Scientific Electronic Library (eLibrary.ru).

Reference list preparation guideline

The editorial team requests authors to follow manuscript preparation guidelines. Manuscripts should meet internationally accepted requirements for academic papers. The length of the manuscript submitted should be about 4000–8000 words. Lettering in Times New Roman font size 14 pt with 1,5 line spacing is preferable. Font -Times New Roman. No automatic hyphenation. Please upload your manuscript both in *.doc and *.pdf formats, titled according to an author’s name (for example, Ivanov_I.doc, Ivanov_I.pdf).

A reference list should comprise more than 15 researches (articles, monographs) including foreign ones (not less than 30 %) and arranged in alphabetical order. Sources in foreign languages should be listed after sources in Russian language. In a text, references should be given in square brackets and should include an author’s last name, date of publication and page number(s) where appropriate, for example . If the source has no identified author, cite the first few words of its title, date of publication and page number(s) where appropriate, for example [Material for the dictionary… 1999, 67].

The reference list should not be numbered and should comprise only sources mentioned in the paper.

Articles in Russian or English are submitted.

Manuscripts should be presented in the following order

Universal Decimal Classification No, the author’s initials and surname, the title of the article, abstract (200–250 words), keywords (15–17 words), the body of the article, references, the date of submission (the date is set by the executive editor), the author’s initials and surname in English, the title of the article in English, the abstract in English, keywords in English, information about the author (the author’s full name, Scientific degree, position, the place of employment, Country, City, е-mail).

Manuscripts should be carefully checked and edited.

The author is held responsible for the correctness and completeness of bibliographic data.
